Letter from
the President
Recently at a
gathering of over a hundred chamber businesses one business member stood up and said of
the chamber, “By staying
together, we make things
better.”
While I'm sure that
statement would win a poetry contest – it does have a nice rhyme
to it - and it is
indicative of what the Chambers is all about.
With chamber
members saying together we
can build a stronger local economy.
With members staying
together, we get to share business opportunities. With members staying together we can share
with each other the knowledge that we have learned to make business
healthy thus creating a solid business foundation. By members staying together we can have
a united voice can be heard loudly in the governmental halls of our
city, state and nation. With
chamber members staying
together we can become productive stewards of a friendly,
healthy and prosperous local community.
As we launch our 2010 community profile. It's
important to remember the words of that chamber member. In
addition to this community profile is this
membership directory with almost 1800 local
businesses- businesses who are staying
together to make commerce better and community more livable.
Inside the pages of
this book you will find the names and addresses of each and every
member in the chamber and Buyers Guide that can deliver goods and
services for every business category.
We urge that you check here first whenever there is a desire
to buy anything, anywhere in the Valley.
Also, it is always
important to remember the core values
of the Greater Fresno Area Chamber of Commerce are.
