San Joaquin Political Academy

The San Joaquin Political Academy’s mission is to provide training for accomplished business, professional, and civic leaders who have outstanding leadership potential and may be, or are, interested in running for political office.  The Academy provides a “behind the scenes” look at what it takes to run and win political office.  In a safe environment, you listen to and work with high-profile leaders who address thought-provoking and challenging topics, teach the ins and outs of deciding to run, developing your message and your campaign.  You practice responding to tough media questions, going before the editorial board, debating topics of the day—all while being video taped and critiqued by speakers and SJPA Board members. 

We need experienced political leaders who understand the importance of a healthy business climate to the economic vitality of our region, who are committed to making the right decisions for our community and state, and who can lead ethically, with civility and integrity.
