Business Education
The Education Committee of the Chamber exists to explore actions or
positions regarding education and education issues within our
community. The Committee also serves as the support system for
participating educators and business partners within the Competency
Program and student certification process by evaluating, updating
and modifying the Competency Program outline; providing student,
teacher and business partner materials for use in the program;
offering on-site visits to aid participating schools and teachers;
and providing a student-centered activity each year for certified
students.
The
Education Committee also participates with various community groups
to recruit businesses to serve as school partners.
