EDUCATION COMMITTEE |
This committee is another way your chamber is
working to provide a strong local economy.
This committee is charged with enhancing
interaction between business and education in
our region. Members of the committee represent
area businesses, educational institutions and
community organizations working in a
collaborative effort to improve the future of
our local economy.
Today’s students are tomorrow’s workers and
leaders. By improving the relevance of their
educational experience we seek to help students
develop roots and a sense of loyalty to our city
and region. They will become the best and
brightest and pursue vital exiting careers right
here. This highly competent workforce will
create and attract more business and industry.
In this way we expect our efforts to provide a
strong local economy.
The committee hosts multiple events each year
and continually seeks to promote and enhance
business and education partnerships. You are
invited to visit a meeting of the committee from
7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on the second Tuesday of
