Ribbon Cutting – Fatte’s Pizza

Fatte’s Pizza, the Central Coast sensation had their ribbon cutting on August 14th, 2018. Co-owners Kayla Hagood and Ryan Broussard picked Fresno to open their new business because they would get many calls from the 559 area code placing orders when visiting the coast.

Thank goodness for that! It’s delicious and very inexpensive! Did I mention they make their Ranch Dressing from scratch…YES…from scratch!!

Fresno City Council President, Esmeralda Soria was there to welcome them along with Deputy District Director, Shannon Major with State Senator Tom Berryhill, and Jose representing Congressman Jim Costa.

Fatte’s Pizza is a franchise that began on the Central Coast, originating in the San Luis Obispo area during the 70’s. Both Ryan Broussard, who worked at the Grover Beach location since 2004 and Kayla Hagood, who also worked for Fatte’s on the coast, chose Fresno as their new home.

“A lot of people from the Central Valley vacation in the Central Coast. They frequently asked when will Fatte’s Pizza make its way to Fresno?” said Ryan Broussard. That is when he decided Fresno would be the location he would make the next Fatte’s Pizza Place. He chose this west Shaw Avenue location being that it was previously a pizza place and had all the necessary equipment.
